In the third instalment of my quest to beautiful hair, It all about the products!
Product One- Shampoo: Living Proof frizz
This Shampoo is one of the only shampoos that do not stress out my scalp. I originally started using Moroccan oil shampoo and it broke my scalp out so bad that I could never put enough moisture in. I spent quite a bit of time reseting my scalp I tried this shampoo on a whim and I have yet to regret the decision. I usually buy it at Sephora for $26 in its standard size. This size usually lasts me a bit over a month. That is usually because I do not wash my hair everyday (though note that the better deal is in the value size.)

Product Two- Conditioner: Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Conditioner
This conditioner took a while for me to get used to unlike the Living Proof shampoo where I immediately fell in love with this took time I may continue to do some more soul searching in this department. Though it is enough for me to talk about it and still be happy with my current results. I also tend to use more Conditioner then Shampoo, if it wasn’t for the hair mask I use I would most certainly run out of it before a month ended. This is another Sephora purchase and it runs for $34 for a standard size its runs high but at this point, I haven’t found something to replace it yet.

Product Three- Hair Mask: Macadamia Professional Nourishing Moisture Masque
Let me tell ya about this masque I have been using her for years! The sad part is the price has gone up about $12 since I started using it 6 years ago. This masque is great and adding moisture to my hair and is also wonderful at taking out large knots for when I do something crazy to my hair. I buy it at either Ulta or CVS for a breathtaking $36 dollars. Though the price is steep I find this product lasting the longest. I use this about once a week to replace the B&B oil conditioner.
Product Four- Reset Shampoo: Bed Head Urban Antidotes Recovery Shampoo
Remember how I told you that my scalp broke out from trying the macaroon oil shampoo and conditioner well this was the shampoo I used to reset the scalp. This does exactly as it says on the bottle. It gives the recovery my scalp needs and doesn’t dry my hair out in the process. Ulta sells this girl for $28.99 for the value size. I prefer the value size because if I am playing around with products I use this in between the other trials.
Product Five- Reset Conditioner: Bed Head Urban Antidotes Recovery Conditioner
Everything you just read for the Shampoo but everything you need for Conditioner. This adds the moisture back into my hair and helps repair the damage that my head is screaming over. Ulta sells this one for 29.99 for the Value Size.
Product Six- Leave-in Treatment: It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Lite
Now I have problems with putting product in my hair and it immediately making my hair greasy. This is one of the only products I use that doesn’t do that, it adds everything I need from a leave-in treatment without the weigh down of heavy oils. I actually managed to snag a few of these for free last year at the Miss America pageant because they were one of the sponsors and I have tried the other products but this one is the best for me and my hair type. You can buy this at Ulta for $18.52 for the small bottle which will last you a while.
I’m in the search of a dry shampoo next because I’m looking for a good powder one and the one I used to buy I can’t seem to find it anymore so One day I will have a replacement for that product but……
Until Next Time Ciao!
