I’m not an expert by any means, but I feel like I know enough about makeup to do it well and have an opinion on it. My hair, on the other hand, I have no clue. Since I was in high school, I have been battling my hair trying to figure out how to tame it. I have decided I will make goals for my hair and try to figure out how to fix it.
Problem one: Frizz- my hair is very frizzy I could put all of this product in my hair, and it would still poof out like Hermione Granger the moment I step outside.
Problem two: oil- even though my hair is dry and frizzy it also gets very oily quickly. I can’t put too much hair product in because it will just look like I need another shower.
Problem three: hair type- this isn’t a problem as much as it is a misunderstanding on my end. I don’t know how to style my hair. My hair is wavy it doesn’t hold when I straighten it, and it doesn’t keep if I curl it. I have no ability to being able to do anything with it unless I dry it that way.
Problem four: picky scalp- my scalp will reject certain products so I can’t always use products I want because my scalp will itch for days until I reset it.
Goals: find products that will keep hair healthy but combat the frizziness without weighing my hair down. Get a haircut/style that allows me to do things with it but not fall flat I want my hair to feel like a shampoo commercial. Learn how actually to style my hair. Find ways to maintain this and look like an adult. I also need to remind myself that though top knots feel great on top of my head, I do it way too much, and I can feel it pulling the front of my head. And that is doing me no favours in the hairline department.
These goals for my hair transformation feels obtainable. I hope that it works.
Well till next time Ciao!
