I have had a long battle with two things in my life my skin and hair. My hair is still a hopeless cause, but my skin I have found some answers. I have tried everything! From Natural beauty products to the drug store colts (I’m looking at you apricot scrub!) and nothing has really worked. I say my skin is oily and it is! I will never put oil based products because it will just make me shiny and messy and no just no. On the other hand, products designed for oily skin always dry my face out. Then the winter season puts me on a long list of tragedies the Snow Miser takes along on a treacherous death ride.
Yet one day out on a limb and it was most certainly my last hope I walked into Sephora. Why Sephora? Well, I was going on vacation and I was looking for trial-sized things to bring along with me. Though most likely to try and add towards my Beauty Insider points (Which worked I finally made VIB **Happy Dance**), but Magic happened.
When I walked in I was wandering like a lost child in a candy store because let’s be real all I do is swatch lip colors and highlighters like it’s my job. Anyway, I managed to wander to the back corner of the store where the plethora of skin care products exists. After staring at the wall for a few minutes a Sephora employee came wandering my way and asks what she could do. I explained to her my problem I have oily skin but prone to dry patches. I also explained to her I do not like extensive face regimens I despise them, I do not have an hour and a half for skin care more like 10 minutes. I also explained that I know I need a cleaner and a moisturizer but would like a serum that would benefit my skin. I wanted to start forcing my self into a multi-step skincare routine because I do not like them I do on the other hand care about my skin enough to know I needed to do something for it. She looked at the wall for a moment and then picked up three white and blue containers and on these three bottles had a little life preserver on them. She gave these bottles to me and said this a very good brand works well and many people who have tried it love it. She also told me it’s easy to travel with and that it’s not a lot of work involved with using.
What were these three bottles?
Bottle one: First Aid Beauty’s Pure Skin Face Cleanser – This Cleanser is exactly what I need with oily skin it’s aggressive it cleans out the pores. I also like that I can bring it in the shower with me, again I do not like to waste time I like my sleep! It doesn’t lather a lot but it does clean my skin well.
Bottle Two: First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum- This is where these dry patches on my skin get what they need the extra hydration boost. This works a little harder than the average moisturizer and it really works well with the whole regimen.
Bottle Three: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer- Combined with the serum almost immediately after doing my entire face routine my face feels soft. Its lightweight it feels great on my skin what more can you ask for from a moisturizer.

Now on days when my face has been brutalized by the elements I do add an ultra moisturizing face mask just help it out a bit.
And I also take my makeup off with a cleaning wipe.
My routine is this and only this…..
Until Next Time Ciao!
