Communication

Alright kids buckle up because it’s about to get real over here. In a time of age where communication has become instant it baffles me that we no longer are able to properly communicate with people. I have seen people lie or “omit the truth” in order to prevent themselves from being a “bad friend” instead of doing the right thing and actually be honest.

If someone is mad at you for being honest then that becomes the other persons fault not yours. It is the duty as a friend to be honest to be up front and not be afraid to speak the truth. It is basic common sense to be honest. When did it become okay to lie. When did it become okay to stop communicating.

We hide behind filters and hashtags we make indirect posts where we say our feelings on blast for everyone to see including a specific person in order to avoid talking to them. We hide behind anonymity in order to critique people. The world we live in has changed the values we taught are slowly slipping and it’s sad for me to see my friends lie when you know the truth and you try to give them the chance to step up and be honest and they don’t take it.

It makes you think is it worth trying to continue this friendship. Is it okay to forgive them and move on or do you take this as they aren’t there for you when you need them too and they can’t tell you important information because they fear. I mean I feel like I am in a position to let them go.

Just remember yes you can snap your friend instantly a cute flower crown filter and it’s called communicating but we have officially lost our real sense of the word. It’s time we go back to the roots of values. Learn my loves learn to be honest and not hide from our friends.

Until Next Time Ciao!
