When I go on trips weather I am the passenger or driver and weather its driving 45 minutes from the beach to home or 8 hour flight from one country to another I feel that traveling always makes me want to sleep. I arrived in Florence around 14:00 (UTC) and all I wanted to do was nap and relax in this beautiful hotel room, but I could only get my stuff together and start charging my electronics and make sure my outfit was acceptable to enter a basilica, because quickly we had to leave and meet up with our group that we are vacationing with for a tour of Florence.
The tour around Florence is not the same as it was the last time. Don’t go “Well thats the point you learn something new”. No, I saw the same places but I saw less. I wanted to see the tombs of Machiavelli and Galillio I saw them the last time. Though a new experience I saw today was about leather. I learned the History and its impact on the culture of Italy. I can say for sure now that I know the difference between fake and real leather and let me tell you Real Leather Will Burn saw it with my own eyes so do not let anyone fool you. When I was at the store I bought myself a jewelry holder, a bookmark for myself and one towards my mom’s Christmas present, and a key chain for my close friend. Then we had to go back to rushing around and rush back to the hotel and get ready for dinner.
When we got back to the hotel the key to the room stopped working! My brother and I couldn’t even get into the room. I made him go back down and fix the key. Haha! With that situation out of the way him and I got everything done quickly and threw our phones on chargers just so we could have some power to get us through dinner.
Dinner was very good. We had Rigatoni with eggplant as our first dish. Pork and potatoes for the main dish and tiramisu and esperesso for dessert. And let’s be honest this day would not be complete if I didn’t have to rush to the next location mass. We went to mass at night versus the morning because the morning brings wine tasting in the Tuscany.
Finally I got to end my night in the hotel bar relaxing and decompressing with a white wine. Now I could go to bed 😴😴
